The members of 187 each were raised slightly different from the rest.  Dominique (a.k.a. Ether) is the true gangsta rapper of the group having done jail time and dealt with rapping to survive in the slumbs of Georgia he has made a name for himself.  Jamison (a.k.a. Classified)  is considered the brain in the group.  His educational accomplishments have earned him the right to produce rhymes with a lot of thought and meaning.  Jamaal (a.k.a. Bird) is the godfather of the group his spiritual calmness and ability to deal with losses in his life spreads throughout his music using knowledge in a way that is considered before his time.  Justin (a.k.a. Sion) was the last edition to the group and is considered the final piece.  His uniqueness is surreallism blended with idealistic views on life and shines throughout his style of music.

Ether uses a unique blend of words and analogies to convince you how hard his life has been and how hard he can make your life.  He doesnt focus on shooting and killing and then taking a few drinks afterwards.  Ether's music explains his struggle and why its easy to lose yourself and become a slave to the manifestation of the world ,and how even someone as small as him can have the power to destroy all of your goals.  It speaks to the people who never had a home to go home too; who had to drink and get high just to get by in this world.  Ether's lyrics do exactly what his name means they burrow into your soul and burn there forcing you to show respect and appreciation.

Classified's style is a hard one to describe because his simple use of words are complex in thought.  His music is based on his knowledge of the world and he shows you how he feels.  When you listen to his lyrics you can think of a professor leading a classroom or a dominating figure moving a crowd to fight for world peace.  He spins off defintions of words and educates your heart and sublimely seduces your mind.  You simply cant classify him!

Bird posses an outlook that is given to those called "wisemen."  He sees the world looking through the worlds eyes and can tell you quickly the way situations will conclude.  His music is like an old omen written before the days of the bible and were lost somehow and could only be passed on by oral tradition.  He expresses through his music his struggle and pains and misery with a sense of growth that can not be taught.  His music truly soars above the earth and lingers clouding the universe like a blanket. 

Sion is as his name expresses "divine."  His lyrics flows through his body and has the ability to effect you in a way that opens your eyes even during sleep.  He uses philisophicle terms and speaks from truths and ultimate ideals and meanings.  He has introduced the "diagonal line" a play off from Aristotle's vertical line and Plato's horizontal line.  For example, such things as not knowing if the chairs and tables are dancing when we leave the room because anything is possible.  He has the brain that can map a change life.
